Floating City Concept :Lilypad

To overcome the danger of rising tides that may submerge islands and cities in the future designer Vincent Callebaut has designed a floating city named Lilypad.The design is inspired by Amazonia Victoria Regia Lilypad and the goal behind this project is to create a harmonious coexistence of human and nature.
A lilypad will float around the world as an independent and fully self-sustainable home.

Bacteria to be programmed as computers

Christopher A. Voigt from University Of California along with his team members has built into E. Coli logic gates that will help to program cells and enable them to do computations just like computers .

This will help in understanding how cells work at molecular level .

The logic gates have been built out of genes .

“Fluid” is a smartphone concept ,conceptualized by Brazilian designer Dinard da Mata .

The concept device is made out of rubber and black stainless steel.

Nokia E10 is a concept phone from Wang Yifei which is not actually just a phone but also a tablet  .

It consists of a scroll screen that can be extended  from the phone . So it not only helps you to make calls and read emails bot also to watch movies and browse web on the large screen .

The greatest advantage being you can carry your phone as well a your tablet in your pocket .

The tablet has the screen of dimensions 6.4 x 4.0 inch while the screen rolls around onto a 6mm axis .
