Google recently introduced an update to its Android 2.1 as Android 2.2 Fro . Android 2.2 has many remarkable features over 2.1 and is much better in performance .Let' s look and various advantages this new version has to offer :

• You can now  install apps directly onto the SD memory card of the phone rather than the internal memory.

• Apps can update themselves automatically.

• The new android is 2 to 5 times faster than the older versions thanks to the just-in-time compiler .

• Mobile Wi-Fi Hotspot : You can now use your Android 2.2 enabled device to tether to a laptop, ipod touch, etc. and share the phones internet connection.

• Android 2.2 is more responsive and leads to a less draggy experience .

• Thanks to the V8 engine  and 2x faster JavaScript rendering speeds browsing in the new version is much faster experience .

• Supports Adobe Flash

Though despite of thee advantages Android has a long way to go to overcome it's competitors . There are still some issues with Android . Android has one of the most confusing interfaces as a result of which managing music on the phone is much more difficult than its counterparts .
